Sandra T. Kahn

Sandra T. Kahn is a member of the firm. She was awarded a Juris Doctorate degree from The John Marshall Law School and was admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 1983. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1973 and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 1975.
Ms. Kahn was then employed by the State of Wisconsin Department of Health and Social Services as a Probation and Parole Agent for four years before beginning her legal education. Prior to joining Dickler, Kahn, Slowikowski & Zavell, Ltd., Ms. Kahn practiced with the Des Plaines law firm of Di Leonardi & Broihier, Ltd. for eight years. Her primary responsibilities were in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, including purchases and sales, conversion, developments, as well as estate planning, wills and trusts, probate, asset protection, and corporate and hospital law.
Ms. Kahn joined Dickler, Kahn, Slowikowski & Zavell, Ltd. in July 1991, and she has continued to practice in these areas, as well as having substantial involvement with civil litigation of all types, including evictions, foreclosures, homeowner and condominium association representation, and real estate tax matters, including real estate tax protests, reductions, and evaluations. Ms. Kahn supervises all eviction and foreclosure collections. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, and the DuPage County Bar Association. Ms. Kahn has been selected by her peers and recognized as a member of the Leading Lawyers Network.
